Wolves will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the league season when they host Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Mick McCarthy’s men lost 2-0 to Tottenham at home last time out, ending an impressive start to the Premier League season that included two wins and a draw.

Record signing Steven Fletcher is in doubt to take his place in the line-up, though, with the Scottish striker struggling with a groin complaint.

Kevin Foley and Stephen Hunt have also had injury worries this week, but McCarthy expects the pair to be fit for the kick-off at Molineux.

In better news for McCarthy, Matt Jarvis has declared himself fully fit after he was replaced in the starting 11 for the loss to Spurs due to an ankle injury.

QPR put in a dominant performance in their last start against Newcastle, and will be hungry to atone for missing out on all three points in the 0-0 draw.

Wolves have kept only one clean sheet in their past seven league clashes at Molineux, a stat QPR will no doubt seek to exploit.

Warnock blooded five new signings in their draw with Newcastle, with Shaun Wright-Phillips the most impressive of the newcomers.

The former Manchester City man said he was just happy to be back playing in the English top flight, and hoped that he could consistently start for the west London outfit.

“It was nice to be back out there and playing again in the Premier League,” Wright-Phillips said.

“With the team playing the way they did and helping me settle in very quickly, that made it pretty easy.”

“It’s the first game that we’ve all played together. I think we’ve done superb and I also thought the team defended really well.”

“I feel I’m a bit off the pace at the moment. I need a few more games under my belt to get my match fitness and sharpness back.”

QPR’s Rob Hulse (knee), Kieron Dyer (foot) and Jamie Mackie (leg) will miss the clash.
